% 12.02.2018 Respondent no.2 is present in person and has been identified by ASI Ashok Kumar of police station Jaitpur. She says that petitioner is friend of his husband. She further submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner vide Compromise Deed dated 20th November, 2017, of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is on record wherein she admits having settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and has no objection to quashing of FIR against the petitioner.
Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 312/2016 under Section 354 IPC registered at police station Jaitpur and the
consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
