After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case, directions are issued for expeditious disposal of the trial proceedings, he would not press the present application, at this stage. 2.

It is informed that all the public witnesses have already been examined and only 13 formal/official witnesses are remaining. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of evidence and conclude the same, preferably by 31st December, 2018.

In view of above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn. 5.
