The present petition has been filed by the petitioner interalia praying for issuing directions to the respondents to transfer him to Delhi in terms of the OM dated 30.09.2009 on the ground that during his career he has been posted to various areas and though he has made several requests for the spouse posting i.e. wife, who is employed in Lucknow, but no such request has been acceded to. The last rejection letter addressed by the respondent to the petitioner has been enclosed as Annexure P-5 wherein the petitioner was informed that he may be requested to widen his choice for consideration. 2.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioner states that instead of pressing the present petition, he may be permitted to approach the respondent by making his choices for other place of posting apart from the place where he W.P.(C) 11/2018

has been presently posted.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the petitioner is granted two weeks to submit a representation to the respondent in terms of the letter dated 6.6.2017. Immediately on receipt of the said request, the respondent shall consider the same and convey their decision to the petitioner within two weeks therefrom.
