% 07.12.2018 The petitioners are aggrieved by minor sections under which the FIR No. 168/2018 dated 15.11.2018 has been registered. It is the petitioners' contention that the accused should be prosecuted for criminal charges especially in view of the fact that he (petitioner no.1), his wife and his sister have been severely beaten up causing them serious injuries. Photographs showing injuries inflicted upon them, have been annexed with the petition. Issue notice. Mr. R.S. Kundu, the learned counsel for the State accepts notice.
Let this petition be treated as a representation by the DCP of the area concerned. The petitioners may meet the DCP on 08.12.2018 preferably in the forenoon. He shall look into the matter and pass appropriate directions, as he may deem fit. Mr. Kundu assures the Court that should serious
offences are made out, relevant sections too would be added to the FIR. Should the petitioners have any grievance at any subsequent stage, liberty is granted to them to take recourse to legal remedies, as may be available to them.
