The petitioner seeks bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C in case FIR No.827/2014 under Sections 364-A/384/320/328/120-B/34 IPC registered at Police Station Mianwali Nagar. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. Learned counsel for the petitioner urged that the petitioner is in custody since long. Number of discrepancies and contradictions have emerged in the statements of prosecution witnesses. There are no allegations if the victim was put in fear of death to attract Section 364-A IPC.

On perusal of the file it reveals that earlier also, the petitioner had filed applications seeking bail before this Court and on 27.04.2017 the Bail Application 302/2017 was withdrawn by the petitioner.

There are serious allegations against the petitioner and his associates whereby an aged man PW-1 (Islamuddin) was allegedly kidnapped for ransom. The victim has named the appellant to be one of the accused who was present at the spot with his associates where he was kept after abduction.

PW-2 (Murad Ali) identified the petitioner to be the individual who had come to collect the ransom amount and the bag containing cash was handed over to him. 5.

Considering the gravity and serious allegations against the petitioner whereby specific role has been assigned to him in the crime, no sufficient ground for grant of bail. 6.

The bail application is dismissed.
