The petitioner impugns orders dated 30.09.2017 and 24.10.2017, whereby the Appeal filed by the petitioner as well as the review application have been rejected. It is contended that application for amendment of the complaint was filed by the respondent under Section 25(2) of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005, which has been allowed. It is further contended that the right of the petitioner to file a reply to the amended petition has been closed. 2.

I am not inclined to interfere with the order allowing amendment. However, the order closing right of the petitioner to file reply is set aside. Petitioner is given one opportunity to file reply to the amended petition.

Let reply be filed within five days, subject to payment of costs of Rs.5,000/- in addition to costs of Rs.10,000/-, which stands deposited on 20.01.2018 before the Appellate Court. Appellate Court shall release the costs to the Respondent 4.

Rejoinder to the reply be filed before the date of hearing fixed before the Trial Court (i.e. 28.02.2018), so that the next date fixed before the Trial Court, for recording evidence, does not go waste. SANJEEV SACHDEVA, J FEBRUARY 12, 2018 'Sn'
