% 12.12.2017 Mrs. Neetu @ Gayatri-Respondent no.2 (complainant) is present in Court and has been identified by SI Raj Kumar of police station Hauz Qazi. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with her husband, that is, petitioner no.1 and is living with him for the last 6 years. She further submits that presently she has no grievance against her husband and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 6, therefore, FIR No. 97/2009 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Malviya Nagar may be quashed.

Since the husband (petitioner no.1) and wife (respondent no.2) have started living together after ironing out their difference, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings

pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
