% 13.12.2017 It is submitted that disputes arose between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 with regard to the commercial transactions regarding supply of betel nut.

On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR No.

520/2017 under Sections 420/120-B IPC was registered at Police Station Punjabi Bagh. Respondent no. 3 is stated to be one of the accused. It is submitted that matter has been settled between the petitioner and respondent no. 3 amicably; therefore, the aforesaid FIR may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Pratap Singh of police

station Punjabi Bagh.

Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner, vide a Deed of Settlement dated 8th December, 2017 of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Petitioner has paid `3,00,000/- to the respondent no. 2 vide a demand draft, photocopy whereof has been placed on record.

Respondent no. 2 submits that entire settled amount of `15,00,000/- stands paid with this payment. Respondent no. 2 further submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances of this case, as detailed above, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 520/2017 under Sections 420/120-B IPC registered at Police Station Punjabi Bagh, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
