Perusal of the record would show that no one has been appearing for the Appellant. No appearance was filed on 13.10.2023, 21.08.2024, and lastly on 08.10.2024.

The Appellant is aggrieved by the impugned judgment dated 22.08.2016, passed by the learned Commissioner, Employee's Compensation, wherein the Appellant was held to be the owner of the registered vehicle in question, which was involved in the death of the deceased workman. Consequently, a compensation has been awarded to the Respondents/Claimants to the tune of Rs. 8,30,000/-. 5.

admitting the present appeal, it was directed that the aforesaid amount of compensation, which stands deposited with the learned Commissioner, Employee's Compensation should not be disbursed to the Respondents/Claimants, but learned counsel appearing for them submits that it was disbursed much prior to the filing of the present appeal.

On going through the impugned judgment of the learned Commissioner, Employee's Compensation, it appears that a categorical finding, based on the evidence adduced, was made that there was a relationship of employer and employee between the deceased and the Appellant/Respondent.

No substantial question of law has been raised in the present appeal. Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed. All pending applications are also disposed of accordingly. DHARMESH SHARMA, J.
