O R D E R

% 26.02.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Saket Court, New Delhi on 18th March, 2016, therefore, FIR No.610/2014 under Section 354 IPC registered at police station Amar Colony and the consequent proceedings may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 alleged in the FIR that respondent no.2 was running a tour & travel company. Petitioner had purchased air tickets worth `6.50 lacs from the respondent no.2 and paid `50,000/- towards advance.

Remaining amount was not paid by the petitioner instead when respondent no.2 asked the petitioner to clear the dues he misbehaved and molested her.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Vijender Singh of police station Amar Colony. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She admits having received the entire settled amount from the petitioner and says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
