CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV SACHDEVA
O R D E R
% 16.01.2018 CRL.M.C. 209/2018 & Crl.M.A. 830/2018 (stay) 1.
The petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.1191/2015, under Section 498-A/406/34, Police Station Subhash Place. 2.
It is contended that petitioner No.1 is the husband of the respondent No.2.
Petitioner Nos.2 and 3 are the brothers of the petitioner No.1. Petitioner Nos.4 and 5 are the sisters of the petitioner No.1. Petitioner No.6 is the niece, i.e. daughter of petitioner No.4. The subject FIR was lodged consequent to a matrimonial discord. 3.
The respondent No.2 is present in person and is identified by the Investigating Officer. She submits that she has amicably resolved the disputes with her husband and they both are now cohabiting together amicably.
She submits that she does not wish to press charges against the petitioners and has no objection to the quashing of CRL.M.C. 209/2018
the subject FIR.
4.
In view of the fact that the proceedings emanate out of a matrimonial discord and the parties have fully and finally settled their disputes and have stated living together and further the respondent No.2 has stated that she does not wish to press the complaint any further, it would be expedient and in the interest of justice to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating there from. 5.
In view of the above, FIR No.1191/2015, under Section 498A/406/34, Police Station Subhash Place and the consequent proceedings emanating there from are quashed. 6.
