O R D E R

% 29.01.2018 Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Kesh Pal Singh.

She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 18th March, 2016 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

She further submits that petitioner no.1 had pronounced Talaq during the mediation proceedings and a reference in this regard has been made in the mediation proceedings dated 18th March, 2016. She also admits having received the entire settled amount of `20,000/- from the petitioner no.1 and says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 11.

Statements of petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have been recorded, on oath, separately.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 395/2014 under Sections 498A/34 IPC registered at police station New Ashok Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
