The petitioner seeks regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.1673/2016 registered under Sections 376/377/34 IPC and Sections 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act at PS Mehrauli. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file.

The petitioner is in custody since 10.04.2017. Charge-sheet has since been filed and the statement of the prosecutrix has been recorded. Physical relations took place between the two on several occasions at different places albeit on the alleged promise to marry. When the marriage between the parties did not happen due to certain reasons, the FIR was lodged.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.

The bail application stands disposed of.
