Crl. Appeal No. 1152/2017 has been filed by Shehzad through a counsel whereas Crl. Appeal No. 1158/2017 though filed earlier but listed later has been filed by the appellant through the Legal Services Authority. CRL.A. 1152/2017 and 1158/2017

Since two appeals have been preferred by Shehzad, this Court directed Superintendent, Tihar Jail to produce Shehzad in Court today. 3.

Shehzad is present in Court. He states that he would like to pursue Crl. Appeal No. 1158/2017 preferred through Legal Services Authority and would withdraw Crl. Appeal No. 1152/2017 which has been preferred through a counsel because the same is later in time. 4.

Crl. Appeal No.1152/2017 and Crl. M.B. No. 2221/2017 are thus dismissed as withdrawn.

Crl. Appeal No. 1158/2017 Admit.

Trial Court received in Crl. Appeal No. 1152/2017 be transferred to this appeal.

Crl. M.B. No. 2226/2017 (suspension of sentence) List on 12th July, 2018, when an endeavour will be made to address arguments in appeal itself, failing which application for suspension of sentence will be taken up for consideration.
