The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the respondents be directed to open the blockage on the divider of the road in front of gate No. 2 of the petitioner's school. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner would ensure that a barricade is put on the opening in front of the gate and the same is removed only for one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon to enable easy access to the school.

Mr Anuj Aggarwal, learned counsel who appears on advance notice for the respondents, states that opening in front of the gate of the school is likely to create traffic snarls and therefore, it may not be feasible to open the same. This is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner who insists that closing the opening in the divider enhances traffic congestion on the

road in question.

In view of the above, this Court considers it apposite to direct the respondents to once again carefully examine whether it is feasible to create an opening in front of gate No. 2 of the petitioner school for a limited period. However, if the respondents stand firm in their view that opening the said blockage for the limited period would result in traffic hold-ups, then obviously, the prayer of the petitioner would not be acceded to. 4.

The petition is disposed of with the direction to the concerned authority to reconsider the petitioner's request in light of the aforesaid observations.
