CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV SHAKDHER
O R D E R
% 23.02.2018 1.
Mr. Jaswinder Singh has handed over a copy of order dated 16.2.2018, which is indicative of the fact that on 19.1.2018, the petitioner did not appear before the concerned authority. This order also indicates that a fresh hearing was fixed on 29.1.2018 when the petitioner did appear but left the office of the concerned authority within a couple of minutes.
2.
Mr. Mehdiratta what is recorded in the said order is contrary to facts.
3.
I am at the moment disinclined to accept Mr.
Mehdiratta's submission made across the bar for the
following reason. The order discloses that the concerned officer tried to get in touch with Mr. Mehdiratta on 29.1.2018, despite which, no corrective measures were taken by the petitioner in the matter. Mr. Mehdiratta had no answer as to why the petitioner, did not move the Court immediately, after 29.1.2018, if what is stated by him, today, across the bar was the correct state of affairs. 4.
In these circumstances, respondents will proceed to act against the petitioner in accordance with law. 5.
No further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.
6.
The petition and pending applications are closed. 7.
The Registry will scan the copy of order dated 16.2.2018 and upload the same by creating a separate folder in the captioned petition.
