% 12.12.2018 Notice.
Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.
Respondent nos.2 and 3, namely, Ms. Meenu Kumari and Mr. Arjun Shaha are present in Court and accept notice. They have been identified by SI Ram Bhau of police station Khyala.
Respondent nos.2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide a Compromise Deed dated 16th November, 2018. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 say that they have no objection in case FIR No. 175/2013 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station
Khayala and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
