09.01.2018 These are two cross FIRs. Parties have settled their disputes. They seek quashing of the FIRs. The FIR no. 1374/2015 was registered under Sections 323/341/354 of the IPC at police station Tilak Nagar on the complaint of Smt Megha on .21.09.2015. The second FIR i.e. FIR no.0736/2016 was registered under Sections 323/452/342/506/34 of IPC on 24.10.2016 at PS Tilak Nagar on the complaint of Mr. Rajender Singh. It is stated that the second FIR is. By:AMULYA

the counter-blast to the first FIR. The victim of FIR no.0736/2016 is also present in Court. Parties have been called in chamber. They have been queried. The terms of the settlement, recorded in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dated 10.1 1.2016' have been endorsed by the parties. This MOU i's marked as Ex.PA. The parties shall be bound by the terms and conditions contained In Ex.PA. In this Ex.PA it has been stated that it was out of sheer misunderstanding n that the cross FIRs have been got registered. , Parties are closely related to one another. On the advice and assistance of the eldersand family friends the parties have arrived at a settlement. No differences/disputes remains inter se the parties. Learned counsel for the State points out that in FIR No.

1374/2015 investigation has progressed and charge sheet has also been filed. In case the prayer made in the petition is allowed, the parties should be put to an exemplary cost. Noting the aforenoted narration of facts and to secure ends of justice both' the aforenoted FIRs i.e. FIR no.1374/2015 registered under Sections 323/341/354 of the IPC as also FIR no.0736/2016 registered under Sections 323/452/342/506/34 Of ,IPC both registered at PS Tilak Nagar and all the proceedings' emanating therefôrm are quashed. Parties in each of the FIR are burdened with costs of Rs.5000/- each to be deposited with the Delhi High CoUrt Legal Services Committee.
