The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for seeking parole for a period of three months. Additional status report filed. It is taken on record.

As per status report, address of the petitioner's sister i.e. D-23, 3rd Floor Jhilmil Colony, Opposite Greenway Model School, Shahdara, Delhi has been verified and confirmed. 3.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. Nominal Roll dated 11.12.2017 reveals that the petitioner was convicted under Sections 323/363/342/376(2)(F)/506 IPC and was sentenced to undergo RI for ten years with total fine

`30,000/-.

Crl.A.512/2016 was dismissed by this Court on 01.06.2017. Nominal Roll further reveals that the petitioner has already undergone seven years and ten months incarceration besides remission for five months and fifteen days as on 09.12.2017. It further reveals that he is not involved in any other criminal case and is not a previous convict. He has not availed any interim bail or parole during his detention.

In the interest of justice and for the reasons mentioned in the writ petition, the petitioner is granted three weeks parole from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `30,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. After completion of parole period, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent.
