W.P.(CRL) 161/2018 By way of this petition, the petitioner is seeking modification of the order dated 17.10.2017 vide which the prayer made by the petitioner seeking modification in the earlier order dated 15.9.2017 (wherein the petitioner had been granted furlough on his furnishing a surety of Rs.5000/-) had been rejected; by way of modification he had sought to furnish cash surety. Since the present petition is confined only to the modification of the order dated 15.9.2017 which order already stands in his favour, the prayer made in the application is

allowed. The petitioner is permitted to furnish a cash surety in the sum of Rs.5000/-. Petition disposed of.

A copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendant concerned for intimation to the petitioner.
