The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.756/2014 registered under Sections 323/365/376A/376D/377 IPC at PS Anand Vihar. Status report is on record.

By an order dated 09.10.2015, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required.

Undisputably, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then. Status report reveals that the charge-sheet has been filed in the Court on 20.08.2015 against the petitioner without arrest. Perusal of the call details revealed that the petitioner was not in contact with the complainant and was not present at the spot on the day of incident.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of `50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
