% 10.07.2018 Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition as substantial refunds have been paid and with regard to the balance amount, the petitioner states that they have approached the Assessing Officer with a request to examine and pay the refund.

In view of the statement made, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. In case any claim for refund is pending before the Assessing Officer, the same would be considered in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible.
