% 21.12.2017 IA 15392/2017 Exemption allowed subject to all just exceptions. O.M.P.(MISC.) (COMM) 65/2017 This is a petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for making of the arbitral award by the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel for the respondent appears on an advance notice and submits that he has no objection if the time for making of the award is extended.

Taking into account the submissions made in the petition as also the no objection of the respondent, I extend the time for making of the arbitral award till 2nd August, 2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms.
