% 01.02.2018 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 (husband) and respondent no.2 (wife) have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 29th November, 2017 vide Annexure P-2, pursuant thereof they are living together, therefore, FIR No. 570/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Madhu Vihar may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Indrapal Singh of police station Madhu Vihar. She submits that she has settled her disputes with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, inasmuch as, started living with him since January, 2018. She has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Since husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
