The petitioner has challenged the order dated 29th September, 2017 passed by the Estate Officer against which the petitioner has a remedy of appeal under Section 9 of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971. The petitioner is also seeking direction with respect to the framing of the guidelines for allotment of General Pool Residential Accommodation to eminent artists.

After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition to file an appeal against the order dated 29th September, 2017 under Section 9 of the Public Premises (Eviction
of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 before the competent Court. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks protection upto 05th January, 2018 to enable him to file the appeal on the ground that the Courts are closing for vacations from 23rd December, 2017 to 01st January, 2018. 4.
Learned counsel for the respondents, present in Court on advance notice, submits on instructions from Mr. Harvesh Kumar, Assistant Director (Litigation) present in Court that no coercive action shall be taken till 05th January, 2018. The statement is taken on record. 5.
The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. 6.
Copy of this order be given dasti to counsels for the parties under signatures of the Court Master.
