% 20.12.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 (husband) and respondent no.2 (wife) have started living together after resolving their differences, therefore, FIR No. 80/2015 under Sections 498A/406/354/34 IPC registered at police station Bhajan Pura may be quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 and 3.
Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Prempal Singh of police station Bhajan Pura.
She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is living with the petitioner no.1 for the last five and a half months, therefore, she has
no objection in case the FIR is quashed.
Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after ironing out their differences and wife does not have any objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
