% 15.01.2018 This petition under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Sole Arbitrator, who has been appointed to adjudicate the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the Agreement for "Construction of Elevated Road over Barapulla Nalla starting from Mathura Road to Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Delhi (Package-2)".
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection to the extension of time.
I have also perused the contents of the petition and find that the delay in making of the Award is not attributable to the Arbitral Tribunal. I, accordingly, extend the time in making of the Award by twelve months w.e.f. 31.12.2017.
The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs. NAVIN CHAWLA, J JANUARY 15, 2018/Arya
