versus CHATTAR SINGH SINGHI & ANR ..... Respondents Through

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.K.GAUBA

O R D E R

% 23.01.2018 The prime grievance raised in the petition at hand is that the eviction case (E-157/12) instituted by the petitioner against the respondents is hanging fire, there being no hope of early adjudication, this inspite of the fact that while allowing the revision petition to be withdrawn (RC Rev. 169/2014) earlier preferred against the order dated 16.11.2013 whereby leave to defend was granted to the respondents, this Court by order dated 7.1.2015 had recorded a request for the proceedings to be expedited and the matter to be disposed of "preferably within (that) year (2015)". This Court hopes and trusts that the trial judge would be alive to the said request in the order dated 07.01.2015 and would bear in mind while fixing the dates in the endeavour to decide the case at an early date. The learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage wants to withdraw the petition.

The petition and the accompanying applications filed therewith are dismissed as withdrawn.
