% 09.01.2018 1.

All the 40 petitioners, who are working on the post of Lab Assistant in Sashastra Seema Bal (in short 'the SSB'), have jointly filed the present petition praying inter alia for directing the respondents to hold their cadre review as Constable (Laboratory Assistant) at the earliest. 2.

Mr. Bhardwaj, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that after several representations of the petitioners were not responded to by the respondents, they were compelled to serve a legal notice dated 12.10.2017 (Annexure P-7), but even that has not elicited any response from the respondents.

3.

Having regard to the fact that the respondents have not expressed any view in respect of the points raised in the legal notice dated 12.10.2017, issued on behalf of the petitioners, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the W.P.(C) 207/2018

present petition at the stage of admission itself with directions issued to the respondents to examine the points raised in the said legal notice within eight weeks, in accordance with law and take a decision thereon under written intimation to the learned counsel for the petitioners. While taking a decision, the respondents shall be mindful of the orders passed in O.Ms. dated 10.2.2011 (Annexure P-6) and 02.11.2017 (Annexure P-1) respectively, issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, DoPT, Govt. of India and relied on by the petitioners. 4.

If the grievance of the petitioners still survives, they are at liberty to seek their remedies, in accordance with law.
