The petitioner seeks regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No. 666/2016 registered under Sections 394/397/34 IPC & Sections 25/27 Arms Act at PS Sarai Rohilla. Status report is on record.
2.
I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. Allegations against the petitioner are very serious and grave whereby he along with his associates committed robbery at the residence of the complainant / victim Farhena Irfat while armed with deadly weapons.
The petitioner along with his associate was arrested at the spot and the weapons were recovered from their possession. In the evidence admittedly the complainant has identified
the petitioner to be one of the perpetrators of the crime. Material prosecution witnesses remain to be examined.
3.
Considering the gravity of the offence and serious allegations against the petitioner, no sufficient ground for grant of bail at this stage. The bail application is dismissed.
