Crl.M.A. No. 2946/2018 For the reason stated in the application the delay of 43 days in refiling the petition is condoned. Application is disposed of. W.P.(CRL) 497/2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 807/2016 under Section 376/506 IPC on the ground that she has settled the matter with the respondent No. 2 the alleged accused. The offence under Section 376 IPC being serious in nature, the FIR in question cannot be quashed on the basis of compromise. At this stage learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
