% 19.01.2018 Petitioners have approached this Court to seek appointment on compassionate grounds without making a Representation to respondent. This petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make a Representation to second respondent within two weeks. If such a Representation is received by second respondent, then it be duly considered and decided within twelve weeks in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. The fate of Representation be made known to petitioners within a week thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of the remedies, as available in law, if need be. In case appointment on compassionate grounds is denied to petitioners, then reasons for declining it be spelt out. Till the fate of petitioners' Representation is W.P.(C) 544/2018
conveyed to petitioners, status quo in respect of their contractual employment be maintained and in case petitioners' contractual employment comes to an end, its renewal be sympathetically considered. With aforesaid directions, this petition and application are disposed of.
