% 03.01.2018 Status report has been submitted on behalf of the State submitting to the effect that the Vodafone telephone company has been unable to trace out the details of call of the year 2013 stating that the details are more than a year old. On behalf of the applicant it has been submitted that the FIR has been registered after much delay in relation to the alleged commission of offence and it has further been submitted on behalf of the applicant that the applicant and complainant are both adults and relations between them are wholly consensual and that the FIR has been registered with much delay. It has been submitted on behalf of the applicant that pursuant to the proceedings dated 22.12.2017, the applicant has been joining the investigation and has not disobeyed the order dated 22.12.2017 in any
manner and has not made any contact with the complainant. Placed on record is the report dated 21.12.2017 submitted by the SHO, PS Vasant Kunj (South) indicating inter alia that the FIR No. 554/2017, PS Vasant Kunj has been registered against Mr. Hasim @ Babbu stated brother of the applicant for making threatening calls to the complainant on her mobile phone and asking her to get the present FIR in question revoked, or else she would be murdered. It has been submitted on behalf of the applicant that the applicant is not in any manner involved in the said threatening calls. Taking into account the factum that the said FIR 554/2017, PS Vasant Kunj is indicated to have been lodged on the basis of threatening calls made by the brother of the applicant even though it is indicated to have been registered before the date 22.12.217, there is no ground for granting anticipatory bail to the applicant. The interim protections are withdrawn.
