% 19.07.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 4th December, 2017, therefore, FIR No. 247/2013 under Sections 103/104 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and Section 63 of the Copy Right Act, 1957 and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed qua the petitioner.

Learned APP submits that apart from the present petitioner Surender is also accused in the FIR.

Mr. Deshpal Singh, Authorised Representative of respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Mukesh Kumar of Economic

Offence Wing. He submits that respondent no.2 has settled the petitioner only, therefore, respondent no.2 has no objection in case FIR is quashed qua the petitioner.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending against the petitioner. Accordingly, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed qua the petitioner only. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
