% 15.01.2018 Respondent No. 2 Abdul Waheel Siddiqui is present along with his counsel and has been identified by Sub-Inspector Rohit Kumar of PS Jamia Nagar. Respondent No. 2 says that CS No. 6232/2016 was pending between him and petitioner No.1 and certain other persons. A settlement was arrived at in the said civil litigation before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 23.08.2017 vide Annexure-P2. He says that settlement (Annexure P2) was signed by his attorney namely, Sh. Abdul Mateen.

He says that during the settlement before the mediation centre, it was agreed that present FIR No. 7/2009 under Sections 448/380/341/34 IPC registered against the petitioners will also be quashed in view of the settlement.

Respondent No. 2 says that he has no objection in case FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR No.7/2009 under Sections 448/380/341/34 IPC and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners, in view of the settlement.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
