By way of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. the petitioner is seeking parole for a period of three months to look after his aged ailing father, maintain family relations and re-connect social ties.

Notice. Learned advocate as above accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Nominal roll of the petitioner has been placed on record as per which the petitioner has recently availed Furlough from 16th October, 2017 to 31st October, 2017.

As per Parole/Furlough Guidelines-2010, a minimum period of six months ought to have elapsed from the date of termination of the previous parole/furlough.

In the given facts and circumstances, the prayer of the Petitioner for releasing him on parole is hereby rejected.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

Petitioner be informed through concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
