% 01.02.2018 Petitioner no. 1 is son of petitioner no. 2.

They are neighbours of respondent no. 2. It is submitted that a quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of the FIR No. 326/2013 under Sections 354A/323/506 IPC at Police Station Nangloi.

With the interventions of their common friends and other family members, petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Prem Yadav of police station Nangloi.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide Settlement/Agreement before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 21st December, 2016 and she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 is also on record at page 16, wherein she has stated that she does not want to pursue or proceed with the FIR and she has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 326/2013 under Sections 354A/323/506 IPC registered at Police Station Nangloi and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
