O R D E R

% 05.01.2018 Petitioner is seeking anticipatory protection. Present FIR has been registered under Sections 420/467/468/471/474 of the IPC at Police Station Najafgarh. The petitioner relies upon a registered General Power of Attorney and a Will executed by the deceased Chand Ram purportedly in the year 1999 by virtue of which the disputed property, as per the petitioner, fell into the hands of the petitioner. The FIR had been registered on the complaint of one Kaila Devi who claims herself to be the daughter of Chand Ram who as per the petitioner surfaced only in the year 2014 when admittedly father Chand Ram had expired in 2010.

Learned APP for the State informs this Court that the GPA and the Will have been sent to the FSL for verification of the signatures of

Chand Ram but the thumb impression of Chand Ram which the investigating agency had obtained from the bank statement of Chand Ram reflected that the thumb impression being faint could not been used for the purposes of verification. This has stalled the progress in the investigation.

The petitioner had last joined investigation on 16.10.2017 & 18.10.2017. She will continue to join investigation as and when summoned by the Investigating Officer. In the event of arrest, the petitioner be admitted to bail on her furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Investigating Officer. Petition disposed of.
