O R D E R

% 05.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 are relatives. They have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 238/2010 under Sections 323/341/354/34 IPC registered at police station Vijay Vihar, on the complain of respondent no.2, may be quashed. At the time of the incident, respondent no. 2 was aged about 17 years and now she is 24 years old. Respondent no. 3 is mother of respondent no.2; whereas respondent no. 4 is brother-in-law (jija) of respondent no.2 and son of respondent no.5. Respondent nos. 2 to 5 had sustained simple injuries in the incident. perusal of FIR shows that a quarrel took place between the petitioners and private respondents on some trivia issue.

Respondent nos. 2 to 5 are present in Court along with their counsel and have been identified by SI Pawan Kumar of police station Vijay Vihar. They submit that they have settled their disputes with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection in quashing of the aforesaid FIR. Respondent no. 2 also confirms having received settled amount of `20,000/- from the petitioners as compensation.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
