O R D E R

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:- (i) to direct respondents No.4 to 6 and its officials not to harass the petitioner.

(ii) to direct respondents No.1 to 3 to provide protection to the petitioner at her current place of residence.

(iii) to direct respondents No.1 to 3 i.e. Delhi police and respondents No.4 to 6 i.e. Jammu & Kashmir Police to produce full security to the petitioner from respondents No.7 to 12.

(iv) to issue directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to take appropriate measures to prevent any kidnapping/forceful abduction/forceful transfer of W.P.(CRL) 2319/2015

the petitioner by respondents No.7 to 12 or their agents from her current place of residence.

(v) to issue directions to respondents No.7 to not to contact/kidnap/take custody/approach the petitioner in any manner. 2.

Perusal of the proceedings dated 14.10.2015 reveals that though the petitioner has made various prayers in this petition, learned counsel for the petitioner has restricted his prayer to the extent of issuance of directions to SHO, Civil Lines to afford protection to the petitioner. 3.

Learned ASC for the State/R-1 to R-3 has filed the status report and submitted that in compliance of directions of this Court vide order dated 14.10.2015, regular watch is being kept over the petitioner, who is presently residing with brother of her husband, by the staff of PS Civil Lines and mobile numbers of SHO, PS Civil Lines, I/C Police Post Majnu ka Tila and Beat Staff were provided to the petitioner and her mobile number was also taken.

Learned ASC for the State/R-1 to R-3 has further submitted that so long the threat persists, the police will continue providing necessary protection to the petitioner as well as the members of the family with whom she is presently residing.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on being satisfied by the assurance given by learned ASC for the State/R-1 to R-3, seeks leave to withdraw the present petition.

Leave granted.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. PRATIBHA RANI, J.
