W.P.(C) 9823/2015 1.
Issue notice. Ms.Rajdipa Behura, counsel for the respondents accepts notice.
2.
Petitioner's grievance is that he was excluded in the select list for the Central Armed Police Forces for 2013. Learned counsel highlights that the petitioner had opted for the armed force and had appeared from Bihar. It is submitted that for Bihar the lowest mark indicated (for category 1) is 62 whereas he has secured 74 marks. 3.
The petitioner had appeared as an OBC candidate and secured 74 marks. An extract of the result published for the CAPF
recruitment-2013 has been annexed to the writ petition. Results indicate that the lowest marks for OBC (category no.6) in Bihar are
77. Category 1 denotes scheduled castes candidates. The lowest marks for General (category no.9) are 79.
4.
Consequently, we find no merit in the writ petition. It is therefore dismissed.
