During the course of arguments, it was informed that certain dowry articles have been returned to the complainant. Complainant's counsel urged that the dowry articles returned are incomplete and deficient.

Petitioner's counsel, on instructions, agreed to pay `1 lac to the complainant without prejudice and subject to future adjustment (if any) towards dowry articles.

On this, the complainant has no objection to the grant of anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the offer of the petitioner to pay `1 lac to the complainant by way of demand draft within two weeks through the Investigating Officer BAIL APPLN. 2240/2015

without prejudice and subject to future adjustment (if any), the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer.

The petitioner shall, at first instance, appear before the Investigating Officer on 02.04.2016 at 04.00 p.m. to join the investigation and shall continue to do so as and when required by the Investigating Officer.

In case of non-compliance of the order the complainant will be at liberty to approach this Court. 5.

The bail application stands disposed of.

Pending application also stands disposed of.
