By this petition, the petitioner seeks extension of parole. Case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was granted parole vide communication dated 5th November, 2018 and he was released on 25th November, 2018 and on the same night when he was released, the petitioner's mother passed away. Petitioner states that the marriage of his nephew was earlier fixed for 12th December, 2018 however due to the death of his mother, the marriage is now postponed to 28th December, 2018, hence the parole granted to the W.P.(CRL) 3765/2018

petitioner for a period of three weeks by the Government of NCT of Delhi be extended so that the petitioner can attend the marriage of his nephew. 4.

A status report has been handed over which is taken on record. 5.

As per the status report, the factum of death of the petitioner's mother on 25th November, 2018 and the marriage of the nephew of the petitioner fixed on 28th December, 2018 has been verified. 6.

Considering the verification done, this Court deems is fit to extend the parole granted to the petitioner for a further period of two weeks from the expiry of first spell of three weeks parole granted by the Government of NCT of Delhi vide communication dated 5th November, 2018 on the same terms and conditions as imposed by the Government of NCT of Delhi in the communication dated 5th November, 2018.
