% 10.08.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that present FIR has been lodged by the complainant after six years of the marriage. The complainant has alleged in the FIR that her pregnancy was terminated because of the harassment and beatings extended in the matrimonial home but no MLC is there to support this version. One child was born from the wedlock of the parties and is with the complainant, who left the matrimonial home of her own.

Learned APP has opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner. She submits that specific allegations have been levelled against the petitioner in the FIR to the effect that he gave beatings to the complainant from time to time and also forced her to terminate the pregnancy. Keeping in view the totality of circumstances, it is ordered that in case

of arrest, petitioner be released on bail subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `20,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer/SHO of the concerned police station.

Bail application is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
