The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that respondent no.1 be directed to protect the petitioners against the family members and relatives of petitioner no.1.

The petitioners state that they have attained the age of majority and have married against the wishes of the family members of petitioner no.1. They apprehend harm at the hands of those family members. 3.

The status report has been filed, which indicates that the petitioners are not living at the address provided and they have returned to their village (Village Murshadpur, Hapur, Uttar Pradesh). It is also stated that the petitioners were contacted and requested to meet the SHO-Dabri, Division Officer and the Beat Staff, in case of any emergency. 4.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners contends that the

petitioners are living in Delhi and require protection. 5.

In view of the above, the petitioners are permitted to approach the concerned SHO (SHO, P.S. Dabri). He is directed to consider the threat perception and provide such protection within his jurisdiction as he considers necessary.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
