Ms. Sunil Verma accepts notice on behalf of respondent. 4.

Learned counsel for respondent says that he does not wish to file reply as he does not oppose the extension of time. 5.

The record shows that the learned Arbitrator entered upon reference on 17.10.2016. Evidently, upon expiry of statutory period of 12 months, parties mutually agreed to extend the time by another six months. 5.1 It appears that the proceedings could not be concluded, even within the extended period and, therefore, upon this Court being approached, via an order dated 08.05.2018 further extension of 9 months was granted. extension was granted w.e.f. 17.03.2018. The extension granted by this Court came to an end on 17.12.2018.

I am informed by counsel for the parties that arguments have been heard and that the learned Arbitrator has reserved the matter for rendering the award.

Given the time and money invested by the parties, I am inclined to grant extension of time till 31.01.2019. It is ordered accordingly. 8.
