% 03.01.2018 This writ petition was taken up today in the morning and was re-listed for hearing on 18th January, 2018. However, Mr. Amir Singh Pasrich, Advocate for the petitioner had mentioned the matter at 1:15 p.m. stating that he has instructions to withdraw the present writ petition. Accordingly, the matter has been taken up for hearing at 2:15 p.m.
Counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the notification dated 28th December, 2017 and the letter of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India dated 29th December, 2017, which were issued after the present writ petition was filed, the
petitioner wants to withdraw the present writ petition and the pending applications. Counsel for the petitioner submits that if required and necessary, the petitioner would file a fresh writ petition, for which liberty may be granted.
In view of the statement made, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for, without expressing any opinion. Dasti under signature of the Court Master.
