CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT

% 15.02.2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby to set aside the impugned notification No.F.No. F68/R&D CELL/Rectt.2017/DI dated 06.10.2017 notifying the amendment to recruitment rules for nonteaching post for Group 'B' and Group 'C' with retrospective effect. Pursuant to the advertisement dated 25.10.2013, the petitioner appeared in a typing test on 27.10.2014 for the post of Junior Assistant cum Typist and in the written test held on 25.05.2016. Both the tests were qualified by the petitioner as is evident from the result. As per the advertisement dated 25.10.2013, the candidates had to appear for interview, however, vide notification dated 06.10.2017 Ministry of Human Resource Development has done away with the interview process and asked the university to start the process of recruiting Junior Assistant
cum Typist without the interview to be conducted. Accordingly, the said process was cancelled, since not completed and fresh advertisement dated 11.01.2019 is issued for the post. As per the notification dated 11.01.2019, written test and typist test are there only has done away interview from the recruitment process. I am of the view that there is no illegality in the notification dated 06.10.2017 issued by the respondents.
Finding no merit in the present petition, the same is accordingly, dismissed.
The petitioner is at liberty to participate pursuant to the advertisement dated 11.01.2019.
Interim order granted vide order dated 06.02.2019 is vacated. The application is, accordingly, disposed of. SURESH KUMAR KAIT, J FEBRUARY 15, 2019 ab
