By this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 772/2018 under Sections 308/324/34 IPC registered at PS Mehrauli on the complaint of one Anjali.

In the above noted FIR, the complainant alleged that she was a transgender and pupil of one Pinki Guruji. There was one another pupil of Pinki Guruji, namely, Shalu but she was removed from the team. Due to this Shalu and her associates developed enmity against Pinki Guruji and her associates. It is alleged that on 29th November, 2018 a car stopped near Modern Public School, Chhatarpur where the complainant and her associates were present. The alleged came out of the car and attacked Anjali and her associates. They used sharp weapon.

On the basis of these statements above noted FIR under Sections 308/324/34 IPC was registered. As per the MLC injury was opined to be grievous in nature.

Considering the role assigned to the petitioner as also the fact that there is some substance in the plea of the petitioner that he was not present at the relevant spot which has been verified from the call detail records as well as the CCTV footage collected, this Court deems it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

It is, therefore, directed that in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer and in case of change of residential address the same will be intimated to the Court concerned by way of an affidavit. 6.

Petition and application are disposed of.
