CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR

O R D E R

% 19.10.2015 The petitioners have come up before this Court seeking protection as they apprehend troubles at the hands of respondent no.3, the father of petitioner no.1. The petitioners are majors who have married each other. After the marriage, the petitioners have been staying as man and wife but they have been subjected to constant threats by respondent no.3 who has not accepted the marriage of petitioner nos.1 & 2 gracefully. Mr.Mehra, standing counsel, has submitted that protection will be afforded to the petitioners provided they furnish the exact place of residence to the police officers of the concerned police station.

He further submits that the address of the petitioners shall not be made public or disseminated to respondent no.3 or anybody who have any stake in the matter.

Mr.Mehra further submits that the mobile telephone number of one of the police personnel shall be provided to the petitioners so that in case of any difficulty, the police station could be contacted. Needless to say that the police would respond to any SOS call made by the petitioners. Considering the stand of the State, no further order is required to be passed.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations. ASHUTOSH KUMAR, J OCTOBER 19, 2015 ab
